I am currently mid way through my re-read of this book but I thought everyone here might enjoy it as well.

“The 7 Secrets of Effective Fathers” was given to me as a gift shortly after the birth of my first son, I read it quickly and did not soak in the information that was laid out here. Now with Child # 3 On the way I decided to give this book a re-read and I must say that I’m Glad that I did.

Dr. Canfield’s advice and experience lays a solid foundation for Christian Fathering something that you do not see very much this day and age. Much as every spring baseball players go to spring training to go over the basics and fundamentals Dr. Canfields book helps you revisit some areas of fathering that – as basic as they seem – we could all use some helpful reminders or a fresh look on some situations
