…For allowing his daughter to pose topless for Vanity Fair magazine. Well, let’s be fair. You couldn’t see any “naughty bits”, but as Mike Church said on his raidio show, “they ‘bedroomed her up’”.
Her father was with her on the shoot, and could be seen in some of the photos. What was he thinking? What dad in his right mind would allow his 15 year old daughter to be publicly sexualized in this way?
Vanity Fair defends their choice to shoot her this way. They call it “tasteful” and “artistic”. I call it soft child porn.
What has happened to all the wholesome heroines for our young girls? First Zoey 101 (Jamie Lynn Spears) gets pregnant at 16, and now “Hannah Montana” poses topless.
Dads, guard your daughters. And do it better than Billy Ray Cyrus.

I noticed last week watching a Miley Cyrus video on the Disney channel with my 10 year-old daughter that she had changed her look from teeny-bopper to teen. Her father no doubt thinks this is a good career move, and look how much publicity it's generated. They'll sell a lot of magazines.The photo is disturbing with its victorian-style t.b. too-thin undead child sex image and blood red lipstick. Too bad the feminists won't speak up about this exploitation. My daughter doesn't understand why we won't let her wear make-up, fingernail polish, and lipstick when all her friends do. I tell her she'll have to wait until she's older to understand.

I think that her father and the photographer should be arrested for child pornography!The governemnt just raided that compund in Texas on a tip that child abuse was going on there. Perhaps the same government should raid the studios of Disney! Something is obviously going on there!Thanks again for posting this.
We used to think the Cyrus's were good role models for families. But with the lack of judgment shown by the dad, they have lost my respect.
Hannah Montana is now Nadia Nevada.Sadly, another example of increased celebrity leading to increased stupidity.Makes me wonder if her earlier testimony for Christ was all that sincere….
Just ANOTHER example of the world crossing the line and saying "see it's ok"This family despratly needs prayers.
The thing about all of this that Miley's parents left before the photo was taken and the only people left were her grandmother and teacher who should of nixed this in a heartbeat like her parents would have. "But the publicist for Cyrus said her parents departed at the end of the day, prior to the pictures being taken and did not see any digital pictures."I do not think all the heat should be on her dad and more on the photographer for wanting to put a 15 year old girl in this type of photo. I agree that it is a disgrace but we must do the research and not jump to conculsions about everything we hear or see on tv as most it cannot be backed by almost anything. Reference Link
