“Bullets for the battle”; that’s what Scott Hahn calls the Rosary beads. At the sound of the name of Jesus, even the demons tremble. Every time they hear the Rosary beads slipping through our fingers, they get more than tremulous; they are really and truly (if it’s possible in Hell), frozen with fear. Why you may ask? What could be more powerful than the name of Jesus?………Mary, His mother, calling His name. They’re evil, but they’re not stupid, and they have really long memories. They remember full well what happened at that little wedding affair in Cana. ” Do what He tells you.” Oh boy!!! That’s right brothers!! Water into fine wine. One teeny weeny little command; and that’s just what it was. “Do what He tells you”period. The King could not refuse His Queen Mother. He knew she had a major role in His Passion play. He granted His mother’s wish. The wine was a neat trick, but the real deal was the first step to Calvary. He would too soon come to know what it feels like to be crushed. That most holy fruit of her womb pressed upon the cross to give to each and every one of us; the finest wine……..His most sacred blood. We Catholic dads; we are servants of the King; knights of the Trinity; our Lady’s men. Knights are pledged to honor and serve their King. They know it brings great joy to their Queen. They wear her colors into battle so that the enemy knows….they WILL do as He says. And so my fellow knights; my brothers in Christ; dust the sin from your armour; mount the white steed of grace, and load ‘em up…………..for we fight principalities, and we do indeed, need all the help we can get. Pax Tecum
LOAD ‘EM UP BOYS!!

thanks for the inspiration to pray the rosary again. My dad had us pray it every night growing up; i slip from the practice now and then, but it does give an added grace and strength to the day. Love the call to arms in your post!
