Prayers

April 13th, 2009
UPDATE: Today we found out that our son passed away. There was no heartbeat, and he measured at about six weeks. From that and other signs, it is now clear that my wife miscarried. I thank you for all the prayers. It’s been a very difficult Holy Week, but a very redemptive one as well. I’ll be posting about this on my blog. If you’ve gone through it, I’d love to hear from you there.

Dear All,

I know you are all in the midst of your Triduum celebrations, but I wanted to ask your prayers for our baby. My wife is eleven weeks pregnant on Easter Sunday and she may be in the process of miscarrying, we just don’t know. We are now going to have an ultrasound sometime this week to see whether the baby is alive.
This is our second child and neither of us knows what to think at this point. Your prayers would help tremendously.
In the Risen Christ,

Hi AaronCame across this blog and your comment and wanted you to know you're not alone. I am a permanent deacon in UK and my wife and I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks just about same time as you lost your son. Rest assured of my prayers, Milo and Simon will be waiting for us in Heaven with their guardian angels to look after them. Its not easy but everyone's prayers will help us through and God willing we will be blessed with more children
