I have created a custom Hybrid program combing workouts from P90X, P90X+ and One on One With Tony Horton I have been reviewing each video in P90X and P90X+ P90X at 120 Days Out and each of the different video's for One on One With Tony Horton. I wrote a piece for my University newspaper comparing P90x+, One one One and 10 minute trainer as Fitness Options. I really like P90X and the One on one's the P90x+ is so so.

Way to go, gents. I'm back in the game today and hope to post similar results in the coming weeks.

Q for Steven: For Round 2, is "P90X+" that you mention doing P90X again, or is it another Horton program? I think P90X's variety is great, but I'm wondering if you sought something else after the first 90 days.

Thanks for writing this article. After 18 years of marriage, I went up to 270 lbs. After reading your article, I tried P90X and I love it. I am just finishing up my second week and I already feel great. I intend to keep going and hope to reach my goal after 2 complete rounds of P90X. I feel like I owe it to my wife and kids to get in shape and be healthy. Even some of my kids are picking up on it and doing some of the workouts with me.

It was hard over Thanksgiving last month, I do not expect Christmas to be easier. But it can be done.

I think a fitness/accountability thread would be great. I'm trying to make myself accountable by blogging about the experience. It's a difficult time to start with the holidays and exams looming, but I think it's the right time.

Thanks Aaron, maybe we could start a Catholic Dad's accountability group for working out and lifestyle changes. It is not easy doing this alone.

As I told you before, I tried P90X and stopped after about five weeks due to the loss of our daughter. I'm going to start again, largely for the same reasons you highlight above. I think it is a gift we can give to our wives and children to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It seems that a number of the dads here have found P90X or a similar fitness program and that they have worked wonders. I am committed to finishing this time and giving that gift to my family.

Thanks for the post.
