What are some other things that others would add?

I would add:
Go to mass more often than Sunday – every day is great, but if that isn’t feasible, start with one more time per week.

Pray the Rosary with your family. Turn to the woman that Jesus called mother and gave us as our mother. She is not only the most perfect example of being a Christian, but is also a source of comfort and support and the blessings on your family will be great.
