I was the one who initially thought it was a good idea. The way my wife was convinced was a series of visits to lots of homeschool families and getting involved with them at Mass and other events and the clincher was going to a homeschool camp. Not a Mums and children education focussed camp, but a camp for all the family centred around the faith. We saw homeschooled children from young to old and post homeschooled children.
We said to each other, "This is what I want our children to be like." and that was that. Then you just take it one year at a time.
Check out more info at <a href="http://bruggietales.blogspot.com/search/label/Homeschooling">Bruggietales.</a>

I so would like to home school. Wife doesn't like the idea, and it would be mostly her.

The modern idea that sibling should fight is another inroad the world could make into our families. Let's not let it.
