Daddy’s Hands

May 20th, 2010

Even if our daughters don’t respond to our parenting, we must never give up or get bitter.  We plant the seed of counsel and discipline now and leave it to the good Lord to let it blossom in His time.  Always bear in mind the good word that St. Paul has written in his first letter to the Corinthians chap. 13.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.”
