I don’t know how to describe this except as evil.

UK Catholic weekly “The Tablet” (which you can buy at the back of Church’s across the country) last week carried two articles attempting to justify abortion.

Including the claim that “Saving the life of the mother is a proportionate reason justifying the abortion” and unbelievably “it is hard to see how an embryo can be deemed a person before even the mother enters into a rudimentary relationship with it.”

You can find out more about this on my blog here.

There are bases for prolife Unitarian-Universalists and Quakers, but not for prochoice Catholics.

BTW, Unitarian-Universalists and Quakers aren't Christians (no baptism).

  3. Ben Trovato says:

To describe The Tablet as Catholic is not really accurate. It claims to be Catholic, but it has a long and dishonourable history of subverting the Church, starting with Humanae Vitae – and isn't it interesting, how if you start by denying Humanae VItae, you always seem to end up supporting abortion.
